Day 9

Day 9 was a day of travelling, and our last day with our new friend Brian.  After a breakfast of porridge, we said goodbye to our hosts and headed off back to Taipei.

(we also saw a lizard)

Up in the mountains we got a good shot of the church built in the shape of a boat that we had seen off in the distance.  Then we made another stop in Dan Shui fisherman's warf before we finally headed to the hotel.  At the warf we got to walk along a really cool bridge and see all the fishing boats coming in and out.  We didn't go in the fish market though, since that seemed a little too smelly haha.  We did find a cute cafe with owls in it though~

Back in Taipei we got to relax a little, and see our friend Sharon again!  She stopped by with some snacks for us, it was really nice.  For dinner we went and found a Sogo, a Taiwanese shopping mall, and ate at the food court.  The apple tea was cute and delicious~

  1. Their architecture is so graceful -- even the lines of the bridge. Apple tea sounds delicious ... why don't we have that in the States? Y'all are getting lots of great pictures!
